KPFT, The Coffee Party of The Woodlands, and The Texas Freedom Network Education Fund sponsored a State Board Of Education District 6 Primary Debate on April 26th, 2012 that I moderated. The participants were Traci Jensen (D), Patty Quintana-Nilsson (D), David Scott (D). Republican Donna Bohorich and Libertarian Gene Clark that did not have opposition were not invited as their nomination was presumed in the primary. It is hoped that a pre general election forum will include these candidates.
After asking a couple of questions, the telephone lines were opened to the public. Several very good questions came in for the candidates. All three candidates seemed more in agreement than not. As such any one of them would make an excellent board member.
