My son & I voted 2day!!!!! Have u? 1 of the persons I voted 4 was Judge Steven Kirkland because he is more than qualified, as verified by 1 Bar Poll which rated Judge Kirkland "OUTSTANDING" & another Bar Poll which rated Judge Kirkland "WELL-QUALIFIED, the highest rating while that same poll rated Elaine Palmer the lowest rating- "UNQUALIFIED".
I was minding my own business supporting Judge Kirkland on his professional merits when Ms. Palmer’s campaign started race & gay-baiting, using my name & lying on me. If that woman walked up & slapped me in the face I wouldn’t know who she is.
4 the record, Ms. Palmer’s campaign violated campaign finance laws. Her campaign is MOSTLY funded by money from a lawyer who a jury found breached his fiduciary duty 2 his clients by taking fees, from those clients, which he wasn’t entitled 2. 4 those of u who don’t know what fiduciary means, it means 2 breach confidence & trust & lawyer’s are not supposed 2 do that. Judge Kirkland was courageous enuf 2 give that money back 2 those clients.
Over 85% of Judge Kirkland’s discretionary appointments have gone 2 women & minorities.
Specifically as it relates 2 Ms. Palmer’s campaign race-baiting & asking Black people 2 call me & ask me why I’m supporting Judge Kirkland, who happens 2 be White, over her, who happen s 2 be Black, RACE has NOTHING 2 do with it. As it relates 2 Black people, every1 who is Black ain’t 4 us, just look at Clarence Thomas. Additionally since Ms. Palmer’s campaign is bombarding Black radio & Black neighborhoods with ads that insinuate that Judge Kirkland is a republican, plz know that most of the people running her campaign regularly represent Black republicans. Their MO is 2 divide the Black vote so that republicans can get in2 office. That’s exactly what they did 2 me.
Ms. Palmer’s campaign is telling Black people that Judge Kirkland is gay. So what, 2 me, that’s irrelevant & besides that, I believe in EQUALITY 4 all people.
Ms. Palmer’s campaign via Black radio and robo dialing in2 Black homes is telling people that I support Judge Kirkland because she wouldn’t "kiss my ring". Well that’s a LIE. Any1 who knows me knows that I’m not a ring-kissing-kinda-girl. I support Judge Kirkland 4 meritorious reasons, not personal, political or sophomoric ones!!!!! He’s an excellent judge!!!!!
I don’t normally speak of others when I support candidates but since Ms. Palmer’s campaign decided 2 lie on me & put my name on their lips, I believe the record should be set straight.
Plz join me & VOTE 4 Judge Steven Kirkland, he’s the most qualified & "OUTSTANDING" person 4 Civil District Court 215.
PS: If Elaine Palmer’s campaign is telling lies on me while she’s a candidate, imagine what she’ll do if elected.
