The 2012 presidential election is all about choices.
Choices about whether we will invest in good jobs under President Obama or give tax breaks to rich Americans and large corporations under Mitt Romney. Choices about investing in Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and good schools, or whether we turn back the clock and repeat the policies that got us in this mess in the first place.
Nowhere are these choices more glaring than in Mitt Romney’s selection of Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate. If Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan get their way, millions of working families, seniors, people with disabilities and children could be kicked off their healthcare.

A Romney-Ryan government would set back the progress we made with the healthcare law and butcher necessary Medicaid and Medicare programs so that millionaires and big corporations could pay even less in taxes.
Romney and Ryan’s policies would also destroy Social Security for middle-class families, put 4 million Americans out of work, and increase the income inequality that has kept our economy from getting back on track. We can’t afford to have Romney and Ryan in the White House.
