“Sam Bacile" Anti-Islam Video Silly & Poorly Made. Knowing Potential Outcome Make It Unpatriotic

September 12, 2012 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

imageI just watched the fourteen minute Mohammad Movie Trailer. I am not sure why I watched the entire trailer. It seemed like an elementary school movie project at best.

I will be honest, as an American who is a humanist with very Liberal values I just found the trailer comical not just because it was a bad parody of Islam, but because the dialogue was so pointless. No matter what religion is being mocked, after watching the trailer no culturally immersed American would be concerned about it or react to it.

That said, my cultural sensitivity allows me to empathize with those who have been programmed to believe that a video of this type is sacrilege to Islam. Make no mistake; those that harm, maim, or kill the innocent because of the perceived sacrilege must be punished.

It is important however to note that we are cognizant that folks that have been immersed in a particular culture that is neither democratic nor humane are predisposed to act out as they have in Cairo and other places because they believe they were aggrieved. Those that are free have the choice to exercise the wide dimension of their freedom which inclusive is the option to denigrate all. In doing so they must be ready for the blow back, knowing that said blowback just may be harsh, inhumane, and life threatening.

Those that have effected the release of this video must only be described as unpatriotic. It is true they have the right to do it. Knowing in these volatile times that it created unrest unnecessarily should have been enough to not release an anti-Islam, racist, and hateful piece of crap like this. The blood of Ambassador Chris Stevens, and 3 diplomats are partially on the hands of them as the unrest likely allowed Al-Qaeda types to perpetrate the assassinations.

Thank you for watching this so that I don’t have to. I don’t want to be numbered in the count of “viewers” of this tripe on YouTube.
