This is one of the best ads in my humble opinion. It is strictly an economic ad that articulates the fact that President Clinton faced the same untruthful attacks on his policy of having the wealthy pay more taxes in order to have a balanced budget and more economic activity.
The stated fact of that policy balancing the budget and creating twenty million jobs is irrefutable. Even Reagan’s economic recovery eventually had a necessary tax increase component though his economic boon had a very Keynesian push from his deficit spending combined with his unsustainable tax cuts.
