The Kingwood Area Democrats (KAD) participated in the Humble Christmas Parade of Lights. Cody Pogue, our 2012 Texas State House District 127 candidate did the honor of driving our well decorated float (a lit pickup truck with our new Holiday banners).
We had a lot of fun as people jumped in front of us to take pictures. Many times they shouted “four more years” likely in response to President Obama’s decisive victory in the 2012 presidential elections.
The parade route was short but very well attended. We are making our presence felt in this area. Our visibility has been instrumental in our phenomenal growth over the last election cycle. We intend to continue participating in all community activities.
