2012-12-17_07-37-39_2432012-12-19_08-06-02_311Move To Amend Executive Committee met at the Bethany Center near Tampa Florida (Lutz, FL) for a planning retreat between December 16th and 20th 2012. Present were David Cobb, Kaitlin Sopoci-Belknap, George Friday, Daniel Lee, Jerome Scott, Nancy Price, Egberto Willies, Ashley Sanders, Laura Bonham, and not pictured Ben Manski via Skype.

It was a successful retreat where many new initiatives were discussed. Some have already been placed into action. Kaitlin Sopoci-Belknap was promoted to National Director. A new convergence schedule to be released shortly was developed.  Specifically our new radio program Move To Amend Reports w/Laura Bonham & Egberto Willies. Several proposals for different panels are being developed.

Kaitlin prepared a webinar detailing the year going forward here. Please be sure to sign our petition here. Our goal is 500,000 thousand this year.

THE MISSION

We, the People of the United States of America, reject the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizens United, and move to amend our Constitution to firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights.
