It seems to never stop. The more the Republican Party attempts to remove the veil of prejudice from itself, the more Republicans come out of the woodworks to show that they are exactly what most know them to be, a party that has a prejudice and tolerance problem. Oklahoman Republican State Representative Dennis Johnson stepped all over and in it while talking about running a small business.
There is such a thing called niche marketing. What you do you find out what you do better than somebody else and that is what you market. … Then you get the reward of success. People come back to you. They like what you do. They like the service they get. And they don’t ask me. They may try to Jew me down on the price. Fine!
[He was then made aware of his racist comment]
Sir? Did I? Alright! I apologize to the Jews. ….[insensitive laughter in the chamber] They are good small businessmen as well.

For anyone believing that this GOP lack of sensitivity is an anomaly, one just have to check out this Jon Stewart montage, this from GOP Senator Grassley, this from South Carolina state Rep. Kris Crawford (R), and this from Arkansas Republican State Senator Jason Rapart.
No autopsy can solve a problem of the heart and the soul. The GOP must first come clean. They must first acknowledge that they have a race, homophobic, and prejudice problem. Only then can they solve the problem by changing hearts. The problem however is that during their campaigns many times they rely on subliminal racist or otherwise prejudice messages in an attempt to divide their way to victory.
Republican State Representative Johnson may need some brushing up on niche marketing. All businesses hope they are providing a product or service that is better than the competitor. There is no niche marketing to that. This guy is a poor representative of the business party with an explanation like that.
Then again, based on his antics in his video he does not seem to have a clue of how insensitive his initial remark and pseudo apology were. He just may be altogether a clueless racist.
