Many accuse minorities especially after the election of America’s first black president of using the race card anytime they point out some overt or implied form of racial discrimination. Just yesterday I blogged the post titled “Korean American Woman Turns The Stereotype Table On White Man (VIDEO)” to illustrate what many take for granted.
The thing about racism is that no one really knows what is in someone’s heart and must catch the racist when he/she is off guard. That is the importance of a video like this.
In the video below the Papa John’s customer methodically validated that he purchased a Papa John’s Pizza by showing the receipt. He validated the telephone numbers being called. He specified that he gave the delivery person a 21%+ tip like he always has.
When the driver returns to the car, a co-worker asks if he received a tip. The delivery guy lies and says no. If the customer tipped and he is telling his co-worker he did not receive a tip, does it mean the delivery guy is stealing tips from his co-worker and using his racist ideology as a screen?
Here is the description that the customer place for his video.
This was a voicemail left on my phone by a Papa John’s Pizza employee. This is highly offensive, derogatory, and ignorant. I am appalled that there were no managers or supervisors (the managers and/ supervisors may even be the ones speaking throughout the recording…who knows) from stopping this kind of conversation in the work place. Everybody has a right to their opinions, however, there is a time and place to express them. As an African-American in this community and also someone who has always tipped their Delivery Drivers 21%+, I am disgusted entirely by this conversation. Instead of focusing on “better ingredients” and “better pizza”, they should prioritize “better integrity” and “better people” on the top of their ‘to-do list’. Inaudible speaking- sounds like two people talking for about a minute and thirty seconds “You back??” “Yea!” “Did he tip you?” “Nope, not at all” “I guess that’s the only requirement for being a Nigger in Sanford. Yea.. They give me five bucks there-fine outstanding African American gentleman of the community” (Laughs..getting closer) “Well just tip me this f***kin Nigger. I’m like singing opera all the way home. I was like. “Niggaaaa….Nigga. Nigga-ro! Nigga-ro! Niiiiiigggggggaaaaaaa-roooooooooo!” (Laughs again) …”Oh my God…” “I got another Nigger song too. It’s an old one. It’s an instrumental but I put words to it, and its “Nigga-nig Nigga-nig Nigga-nig (laughs again) Nigga-nig Nigga-a-Nigger! F*ckin F*ckin F*ckin a Nig-a Nigger! (Keeps going) Nigga-nig Nigga-nig Nigga-nig (laughs again) Nigga-nig Nigger-a-Nigger! F*ckin F*ckin F*ckin a Nig-a Nigger! (Keeps going, coworkers laughing) Nigga-nig Nigga-nig Nigga-nig (really laughing now) Nigga-nig Nigga-a-Nigger! F*ckin F*ckin F*ckin a Nig-a Nigger! (Finale) F*ck F*ck F*ck the Nigger! He is one real big f*cking Nigger. Sometimes you need a two person for that (everyone bursts out in laughter)

According to the Raw Story
Two Papa John’s Pizza employees in Sanford, Florida were fired after an irate customer posted a racist voicemail the delivery man accidentally left after “butt-dialing” the customer on Sunday night.
The Daily Dot reported on Monday that the manager of the store confirmed the customer’s video is authentic, adding that the store had received more than 300 angry calls in response.

These two racists should hold their rancor for the CEO of the company, John Schnatter, they work for who campaigned against their ability to get affordable healthcare. The people doing them the most harm are generally those they revere.
I must admit that the video below gave me pause. Is my smiling face delivery pizza person like these two racists? Makes you want to cook your own food always.
