Patty Pinkley

President of Humble Area Democrats and member of Kingwood Area Democrats Patty Pinkley writes a prescient piece on the state of oppressive women’s policies in the state of Texas.

Patty says:

My fellow women, God forbid that you or a loved one is raped. If a pregnancy is the product of that rape it would be perfectly reasonable to not want that child, especially when it’s possible that the rapist could have legal access to the child. Unfortunately, if you decide on abortion, you or your loved one must endure the humiliation and trauma all over again, with a medically unnecessary and dangerous trans-vaginal probe. Our legislature demands you be raped by that machine. In what alternate universe is that sensible? Think about it ladies. It could happen to you! Are you OK with letting a bunch of angry old men restricting your choices in your life?
