Grandmother Forced To Beg Strangers For Money By Grandsons (VIDEO)

November 20, 2013 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Teens Forced Grandmother To Panhandle

grandmother forced to beg

Seventy five year old grandmother Margaret Campbell, a Porter Texas resident, was forced to do something she did not want to do. She was forced by her twin grandsons to beg strangers for money at a Porter, Texas Walmart.

She told KHOU, “I am very very upset. You don’t know the tears that I have shedded [sic] over my grandkids.”

Campbell said she had just got through eating pizza with her 19 year old twin grandsons Joshua and James Cerda and their 18 year old friend Ashley Ramey. Instead of going directly home, she said her grandsons had other plans.

I said, Joshua, where are we going now? He said, you’re going to go to Porter Walmart,” explained Margaret Campbell. “I said no. No I am not!”

Campbell says Joshua was especially determined.

“[He said] granny, you’ve got to get us some money. I have no gas,” recalled Campbell. “I said, ‘You need to learn to go to work and save your money and quit taking it and blowing it for foolishness.’”

The group soon pulled into the parking lot of the Walmart at Highway 59 and FM 1314. Campbell was allegedly kicked out of the car and told to start asking shoppers for cash.

Apparently a customer flagged down an officer after believing something may not be right. After speaking to the grandmother the officers went to the car with the waiting teenagers and arrested them all.

Abused grandmother will not welcome grandsons back.

Campbell raised the twins from they were infants. She said that they have forced her to panhandle before. This grandmother says the teens are no longer welcome at her home.

According to Local 2 KPRC, the deputy constable asked one of the boys why they asked their grandmother to beg. The boy’s reply was that he did not like to beg.
