Houston Area Father Kills Teen, Johran McCormick, Hiding Under Daughter’s Bed (VIDEO)

Johran McCormick Killed For Being In A Girls Room At The Wrong Time

This story should give notice to all the gun toting loving citizens. Most people with guns do not make themselves or their families safer in the aggregate.

According to reports Johran McCormick, 17, was over at a young girl’s house at the wee hours of the morning. One of her siblings told the father that there was someone in the house. Johran McCormick was hiding under the bed.  The daughter claimed she did not know him. That seems not to be true as she likely let him into the home. Ultimately the father shot the young boy and killed him.

His friends are justifiable emotional, sad, and upset. The victim’s mom Zakia McCormick said that the dad simply should have called her. She would have come to pick up her child.

Having that gun in the house have destroyed the lives of the McCormick family, the shooter, and his daughter. The daughter must live with her lie that got another human being killed. The father must live with his overreaction likely caused by finding a boy in his little 16 year old angel’s room. Deep inside the father likely knew his daughter was lying. He probably shot the young man out of anger. Absent a gun in the home there would likely have been raised voice, a father disappointed in his daughter actions, and a Johran McCormick still alive.

While this situation is tragic, one hopes the father spends some time in jail. His daughter should spend some time to reflect in juvenile detention. This gun toting culture is destroying our society. Until those behind the guns killing on a whim start being locked up, things won’t change.

Is anyone tired of seeing black boys paying with their lives irrespective of their actions? Why does our society, most in our society irrespective of race or culture, treat them as if they were prey? The conditioning must stop.

There better not be a defense to this anything close to stand your ground. The daughter knows right from wrong. The daughter knows she lied. She must accept responsibility for the consequences to her lie, whether she knew or not that would be the boy’s death. The father is responsible directly for the boy’s death. There were a number of other rational and satisfactory courses of action open to him but he chose death for the boy.

Father and daughter are responsible for the life of Mrs McCormick’s Black son. Again. In the South.

AMERICA – watch yourself devolve into anarchy.

The Father walks into his under aged daughter’s bedroom at 2:20 AM on a school night and sees a male in her bed. He asks the daughter if she knows the male and she says no. This is all the information the father has. He shoots the intruder that appears to be molesting his daughter. Case closed.

There is a dead person and it is that simple for you? My God, have we become a society that values life so little?
