Elizabeth Warren Take On Ted Cruz & Paul Ryan Attacks On Poor & Middle Class (VIDEO)

Elizabeth Warren Says She Is Fighting To Level The Playing Field

You won’t see US Senator Elizabeth Warren’s justifiable excoriation of Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz throughout the traditional media. She made the above speech at the 2014 Humphrey-Mondale Dinner that celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the Minnesota DFL Party. She was their guest speaker.

Based on past traditional media behavior, had this been a Tea Party event where a prominent member made striking statements about the opposition, it would have likely been covered. This is why news must be crowd sourced. This is why you must be the media.

“I am fighting to level that playing field,” Elizabeth Warren said. “I am fighting to build real opportunity, fighting to give every child a chance to build something extraordinary. And I want you to fight along beside me. We are in this together.”

If that is not a call to action, what is? Is Elizabeth Warren preparing for a run in the event Hillary Clinton decides not to get in to the presidential race? The biggest concern is the vacuum being created by a presumptive Hillary Clinton run. Elizabeth Warren is keeping up her visibility.

She hits Paul Ryan real hard for his attack on unemployment insurance. Paul Ryan said unemployment compensation is a hammock that lulled abled bodied people into lives of complacency and dependency. Elizabeth Warren said that as Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken were attempting to get unemployment insurance passed, Paul Ryan doubled down. He attacked the values of men in the inner city.

Elizabeth Warren wonders how Paul Ryan can blame it all on the poor and middle class when there are three people chasing every job. He gives the Wall Street, business, and those who crashed the economy a pass. Ultimately she implies Paul Ryan’s vision of America is anathema to the working poor and middle class.

Elizabeth Warren reminded the audience that Ted Cruz was responsible for the government shutdown that zapped 24 billion dollars out of the economy. She excoriated Ted Cruz for taking on the Dodd-Frank act which put billions back into the pockets of Americans. He wanted to repeal it simply because of its “name”.

Anyone concerned that Hillary Clinton is the only game in town need not worry. Elizabeth Warren says she is not running for the presidency. The next president will likely be a woman. If Hillary Clinton falters, Elizabeth Warren will be in the dugout warming up.
