President Obama Makes Fun Of Birthers ‘That was some crazy stuff’ (VIDEO)

April 11, 2014 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

President Obama was giving an impassioned speech about Republicans making it very difficult for some citizens to vote. He gave the speech at the National Action Network Convention. When he got on the subject of the kinds of IDs some of the GOP politicians are requiring, the president became seriously comical. It was on for the birthers. The absurdity was not lost.

President makes fun of the birthers.

In other places folks may learn that without a document like a passport or a birth certificate, they can’t register. About sixty percent of Americans don’t have a passport. Just because you don’t have the money to travel abroad doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to vote here at home.

And just to be clear, I know where my birth certificate is. But a lot of people don’t. A lot of people don’t. I think it is still up on a website somewhere. You remember that? That was crazy. That was some crazy stuff. I hadn’t thought about that in a while.

It is ironic. So much was made of the president who was born in Hawaii, to an American mother and a Kenyan father. Yet, very little was made about Ted Cruz being born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father.

I love President Obama’s ability to laugh at some of the craziness he’s had to endure in his presidency! I don’t cringe when I hear HIM laugh the way I did (and still do) when I hear GW and his asinine cartoon chuckle!
