Every month the Harris County Democratic Party sponsors a monthly panel on the Public Affairs program on Public Access TV. On April 24th, 2014 Harris County Democratic Party Press Secretary Jenard Jenkins convened a panel to discuss the 2014 elections.

The panel consisted of Navid Zanjani, former Executive Director of the Harris County Democratic Party, Special Projects Manager for Councilman Robert Gallegos, and President of the Harris County Young Democrats. It also included Egberto Willies, President of the Kingwood Area Democrats, host of radio show Politics Done Right on Pacifica Station KPFT 90.1 FM, and political blogger.

The discussed the Wendy Davis gubernatorial race.They discussed what determines when Texas is to be considered a Blue state. They discussed the power of women in Harris county with Wendy Davis, and Leticia van de Putte headlining the top of the ticket as well as local Kim Ogg, Ann Harris Bennett,among many other women.
