While under the Bush regime, it seems the Right Wing had no problem with war. Then again in those days there was no real active Tea Party. The Republican Party was happy to funnel the American taxpayer dollars to the military industrial complex.
The merging of the Tea Party, the Evangelical Right Wing, and the warmongering wing of the Republican Party were in lock stock and barrel. Now it is not about war in Iraq or anywhere else. It is about war within the Republican Party.
If anyone had any doubt, you won’t believe who the Right-Wingers have in their crosshairs. You won’t believe who they are implying is palling around with terrorists. Let’s kill the suspense. John McCain is in their crosshairs.
Over the last several days many in the Right Wing blogosphere are attempting to link John McCain to the group “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” aka ISIS. Their websites are flooded with a picture of John McCain supposedly standing with a member of ISIS. Moreover they are claiming that ISIS has launched an ad campaign with that photo of John McCain.
Patriots Billboard posted the following.
REMEMBER WHEN JOHN MCCAIN MADE THAT SECRET TRIP TO SYRIA IN 2013 TO HANG OUT WITH THE SO-CALLED “REBELS?” NOW, ISIS IS USING THAT PHOTO OF MCCAIN AS PROPAGANDA FOR THEIR CAMPAIGN OF TERROR.
This 2013 photograph of John McCain is being circulated by members of ISIS as a photo of him with members of some of their members in Syria. The poster does not specify which of the men is actually from ISIS or “Al Qaeda In Iraq” as they were once called.
The Conservative Papers posted the following.
John MC Cain and Obama have been supporting the wrong groups in the middle east, terrorist. Now these same terrorist are in Iraq, Obama and McCain are on the wrong side.
There are many more but providing linkage to Right Ring groups is not the cause célèbre of this site. Suffice it to say that the Dick Cheney wing of the Republican Party will have its hands full fighting the Rand Paul wing. Buckle up folks. This won’t be pretty.
