Rush Limbaugh reacts to Thad Cochran’s win. ‘Uncle Toms for Thad’

June 26, 2014 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Rush Limbaugh strikes again calling Black MS voters ‘Uncle Toms for Thad’

Rush Limbaugh is on the attack. He is mad that Thad Cochran beat his man. He is mad that the very flawed Tea Party Candidate Chris McDaniel could not close the deal. Americans can be fooled for a while. However, time and light is generally a good disinfectant. Even epidemics eventually burn themselves out.

“I wonder what the campaign slogan was in Mississippi the past couple days,” asked Rush Limbaugh. “Uncle Toms for Thad? Because it was the worst thing you could do as an African American and vote for a Republican, worse thing you could do. But somehow they were made to believe that voting for old Thad would be fine and dandy.”

Of course that was not enough for Rush Limbaugh. He had to inflame even further.

“And why? Because they were told Thad’s done a lot for Black people in Mississippi,” Rush Limbaugh said. “It must be the first time they’ve been told that. Its nine percentage points, insider Republicans in the Senate bought nine percentage points, eight or nine percentage points from the Black Uncle Tom voters in Mississippi.  Well, you know what they call Clarence Thomas? Condoleezza Rice? They call them Uncle Toms. Republicans, these guys that voted for them… Uncle Toms for Thad.”

One can understand why Rush Limbaugh is upset. After-all, it was he who said that the Republican Party was irrelevant. Seems its irrelevancy is yet premature.

Many may ask – Why write about the shenanigans Rush Limbaugh pulls on his show? Why give Rush Limbaugh an extended platform beyond his radio show to promote his racist hate? Doesn’t doing this giving him that platform that makes the problem worse.

The reality is Rush Limbaugh is a cancer to the society. His hateful verbiage is addressed to the relatively few listeners (as a percentage of the population). But these are truckers being screwed by the plutocracy. These are traveling salesmen being screwed by the plutocracy. These are folks on the way home from work who are being extorted via low wages. These folks need someone to blame for their misery. Rush Limbaugh gives them that outlet on the airwaves. ‘It is those Liberal Democrats with their policies favoring those Blacks, Browns, and lazy Whites.’ If he can have that cancer metastasize in their brains he would have earned his overpaid salary and successfully fulfill his job as the shill of the American plutocracy.
