Russell Brand tells why Fox News is more dangerous than ISIS
Comedians continue to be more analytical on world affairs than the traditional mainstream news media. One wonders if many of today’s journalists took basic history or government. One wonders if they had any courses in analytical thinking.
Comedian Russell Brand hit it out of the park on Fox News with his latest piece at his YouTube channel, The Trews channel. He reviewed Fox News alarmist Judge Jeanine recent rant. He took exception with her calling Iran the devil as she encouraged American re-intervention in the region.
No one is defending those that would harm their fellow citizens. That said, Russell Brand points out a truth that many interventionists loath. It is America over the years that played an instrumental role in the destabilization of the region for its own purposes. One should revisit America’s role in the arming of the Taliban, the overthrow of a legitimate Iranian government to install the Shaw of Iran, and of course the Invasion of Iraq on a lie.
Justice Jeanine then makes the alarmist statement that ISIS is coming to get Americans. She said the ISIS assault signals the beginning of the reverse Crusades. And what is Judge Jeanine’s solution to that? – “Bomb them and bomb them again.” Russell Brand’s response to this act of violence is epic. He said one should not think of a bomb as something that just blows things up. One should think of every bomb as a seed. A seed that then grows. He is absolutely correct. What grows out of bombs are the terrorists that hate you. What grows out of bombs are the terrorists that will come to get you throughout the world.
Russell Brand turned the table on Justice Jeanine. She called ISIS a fanatical religious terrorist organization. Russell Brand’s response? – “So is Fox News.” Russell Brand notes the reality that Fox News propaganda is more far reaching. Their propaganda insights violence and insights violent policies. Their actions are far more dangerous than ISIS.
