From Voter Suppression to Media Misinformation on Early Voting
The major Houston, Texas ABC network affiliate ABC13 reported a few minutes ago that early voting ends tomorrow, Thursday October 30th. It is not true. Early voting ends Friday October 31st at 7:00 PM.
I sent ABC13 a direct Facebook message and I called them. Up to two hours later they had not yet to corrected the ‘mistake’.
This will affect many who likely made plans to vote on Friday. They will erroneously believe they can no longer voter. In Texas voter suppression occurs in the form of death by a thousand cuts, a little suppression here, a little misinformation by the media there, etc.
