Fox45 lies about peaceful chant making it a “Kill a Cop” chant against police

December 23, 2014 By Egberto Willies

Willful WBFF Fox News 45 media lie

WBFF Fox New 45 (Fox45) was caught manufacturing a false narrative about the “Justice for All March” protest in Washington DC. Absent video from attendees this lie would have gone unanswered.

Fox45 was attempting to tie the demonstrations to the vicious murder of the two policemen in New York. To do so they chopped the video at an opportune spot for their narrative. They then assigned the wrong words to the protester’s chants.

The protesters were chanting the following.

We can’t stop!
We won’t stop!
’til killer cops are in cell blocks!

Instead Fox45 reported that the protesters were chanting the following.

We can’t stop!
We won’t stop!
So kill a cop!

Note how Fox45 selectively cut the video above to ensure that their lying version of the chant made sense. Absent that chop, it made no sense.

Fox45 later apologized and invited Tawanda Jones to a subsequent segment.

FOX45 Apologizes for Error in Newscast

Fox45 is apologizing for an error made on Fox45 News at Ten last night. We aired a clip from a protest in Washington, DC where we reported protesters were chanting “kill a cop”.

We received a phone call from Tawanda Jones, who is in the video, who informed us that the chant was actually “We won’t stop….We can’t stop…. ’til killer cops…. are in cell blocks”.

We here at Fox45 work hard every day to earn your trust and bring you fair and comprehensive news from around the country. Although last night’s report reflected an honest misunderstanding of what the protesters were saying, we apologize for the error.

We have deleted the story on our webpage and we offered to have Ms. Jones on Fox45 News at 5:00 tonight for a live interview. We had a constructive conversation with her and she accepted our invitation for a sit down interview.

No one should believe that this was a mistake. The selective chop edit is probative. More so than ever it is imperative that the average American be the media. Use those cellphones and cameras and document everything. The professional media, the traditional mainstream media are but wards of the plutocracy. They report to control as opposed to inform.
