Ben Carson accurately defined after statement on gays: ‘Gifted hands has a deranged mind’ (VIDEO)

March 4, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Ben Carson continues to show his derangement

Ben Carson continues to make one wonder how such a gifted neurosurgeon can be so deficient in every aspect of social life and human interaction. He continues to prove that intelligence can be compartmentalized as well with some compartments holding ignorance, bigotry, and intolerance.

Andrea Mitchell played an interview clip of CNN’s Chris Cuomo interviewing Ben Carson. He has been a vocal critic of gay rights. Chris Cuomo attempted to show the similarities between rights for Blacks and right for gays. Ben Carson would have none of it.

“You can’t just say because it happened that way,” Ben Carson said. “this time this is the same situation. It’s not the same situation.” He claimed people cannot change their race as he implied being gay was a choice. When Cuomo asked him why, his answer was rather embarrassing if not bizarre even for Ben Carson.

“A lot of people who go into prison, go into prison straight and when they come out they are gay,” Carson said. “Did something happen while they were in there?”

Andrea Mitchell was speechless. She left it up to Jonathan Capehart for a comment. He did not disappoint.

“Gifted hands has a deranged mind,” said Capehart. “The idea that he would equate someone being gay — which is not a choice by the way — to something that happens to someone when they go into prison straight and come out gay, he is invoking the violence of prison rape to try to explain why someone like myself, the way God made me is gay. This person, Ben Carson, should not be, never should be considered a viable candidate for any party’s presidential nomination. And he certainly shouldn’t be president of the United States. You cannot talk about anyone like that. Clearly I am not saying that Dr Ben Carson is not a smart man. Clearly, he is a neurosurgeon. He is world renown. An in the world of neurosurgery he deserves to be on the platform and pedestal that he has. But in the world of politics, he does not deserve the platform or the stature that is being afforded to him by the Republican Party.”

It could not be said any better.
