Jon Stewart explains the Baltimore political & media fraud (VIDEO)

April 29, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Jon Stewart explains Baltimore riots better than most

Jon Stewart did a masterful job of putting the Baltimore riots into full context. But before he got started he gave a subtle jab to the fraud that is the traditional mainstream news media. He showed three lawless destructive riots that were not defined in the same manner that Baltimore or Ferguson were described. These riots did not have anyone immediately calling for the National Guard. These were riots by the right kind of people that no one needed to fear so their destructive behaviors warranted a more subdued response [sarcasm].

Jon Stewart then went on to play clips of the news media describing the Baltimore event. They used terms like ‘chaos, violence, & lawlessness’, ‘National Guard trying to restore peace’. Stewart then enumerated other urban uprisings that have occurred throughout the decades.

Stewart then played a CNN clip in which a seemingly ignorant Wolf Blitzer displays a false surprise of such an event. “This is a scene that a lot of us never anticipated seeing in a city like Baltimore,” Wolf Blitzer said. “Hard to believe this is going on like I keep saying in a major American city.” As Jon Stewart pointed out, this is the same thing he said a few months ago when Ferguson erupted.

What Jon Stewart did in the video above is display the fraud that is our news media in their coverage and lack of getting to the core issues that are causal. It also illustrates the failure of us all, our politics, to solve the problem once and for all. President Obama said it best yesterday at his press conference.
