The police officers charged by Baltimore states attorney Marilyn J. Mosby are Caesar Goodson, Garrett Miller, Edward Nero, William Porter, Alicia White, and Brian Rice. They were all arrested and they have all posted bail.
Ms. Mosby said, “The findings of our comprehensive, thorough and independent investigation, coupled with the medical examiner’s determination that Mr. Gray’s death was a homicide, which we received today, has led us to believe that we have probable cause to file criminal charges.”
Mosby said that Freddie Gray should not have been arrested at all as he had committed no crime. The knife he had was legal. She ended her press conference urging the citizens to maintain peace show she could in fact provide justice.
