Sen. Mitch McConnell praises President Obama on his military operations (VIDEO)

Mitch McConnell said President has done a good job. Stop the presses.

Senator Mitch McConnell had mostly high praises for President Obama’s military operations. Is there any doubt the kind words are to warm up TPP objectors? Is there any doubt it is a warm up to the funding of the Military Industrial Complex?

It is important to think about this. It is impossible for any bill to get through Congress that helps Americans with their student loans. It is impossible to get a bill through to fund our infrastructure. Mitch McConnell and his ilk refer to these programs as virtually unaffordable and socialist.

A trade bill that costs jobs we can do. But even the trade-off to mitigate the damage said bill would cause must be paid for by the middle class in the form of Medicare cuts.

Many do not watch the Sunday shows. However these shows present a platform for these politicians the ability to articulate their positions in a more complete manner. They generally provide more than soundbites allowing glimpses of their real ideologies.

Americans will have to be vigilant. There is some conflation between the President and those that do not necessarily have the interest of the middle-class at hand. It is legacy time and the President is apt to make compromises he normally would not. We must stop the bad compromises by staying engaged with our politicians.
