President Obama weeps giving exalting eulogy at Beau Biden’s funeral (VIDEO)

June 6, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Beau Biden received an excellent eulogy from the Commander in Chief

President Obama gave Beau Biden a eulogy that encapsulated a life well lived, well admired, and and a life way too short. One can read the greatness of Beau Biden throughout the internet. President Obama gave him his due as well. More importantly however was the President’s humanity for the Bidens. It was evident that President Obama has become a part of the family. The following passage in his speech was probative.

“We do not know how long we’ve got here,” President Obama said. “We do not know when fate will intervene. We cannot discern God’s plan. What we do know is that with every minute that we got, we can live our lives in a way that takes nothing for granted. We can love deeply. We can help people who need help. We can teach our children what matters. And pass on empathy and compassion and selflessness. We can teach them to have broad shoulders. To the Biden family, this sprawling intimate clan, I know that Beau’s passing has left a gaping void in the world.  … I will tell you what, Michelle, and I, Sasha and Malia, we’ve become part of the Biden clan. We are honorary member now. And Biden family rule applies. We are always here for you. We always will be. My word as a Biden. To Joe and Jill, just like everybody else here, Michelle and I thanks God you are in our lives. Taking this ride with you is one of our great pleasures of our lives. Joe, you are my brother. I am grateful everyday that you’ve got such a big heart and a big soul and those broad shoulders. I could not admire you more.”

The President cannot heal the pain that the Bidens are going through right now. He can give them a necessary solace. He provided the family a solace.
