White man massacred 9 members at predominantly black Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC (VIDEO)

Shooting at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston South Carolina

There was a shooting massacre by a young  white male that murdered 9 members at the predominantly black Emmanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina. The pastor of the church, State Senator Clementa Pinckney was one of those killed.  Reverend Clementa Pinckney was 41 and married with two children. He was a Democratic member of the South Carolina Senate.

It has been reported that the gunman may have been in the church for one hour previous to the killings.


ABC4 reports that State Representative Reverend Clementa C. Pinckney (D-SC) and pastor of the church as well as his sister were shot. Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen just announced that 9 people from the AME church were killed. He said that it was a hate crime.
