Goldie Taylor, CNN, HLN, & MSNBC contributor schooled me. It’s men’s fault (VIDEO)

August 1, 2015 By Egberto Willies

MSNBC, CNN, HLN contributor Goldie Taylor tells it like it is at Netroots Nation

Goldie Taylor and Egberto Willies

While visiting the exhibit hall I decided to go into the Blue Nation Review (BNR) booth. I did not realize that CNN, MSNBC, HLN contributor Goldie Taylor was a part of their team. When I saw her I went over to say hi and to take a selfie.

She said she needed to fix her hair first. I started to laugh. I mean, it is a selfie. It’s 2015. I started to tease her a bit and then she started to give me a schooling on makeup. I stopped her and said, “You know what? Let me get this on camera for my blog.”

The audio isn’t very good as the hall was very very loud. I used Adobe Audition to clean the audio the best I could.

“Lipstick, High heel, nails, makeup, we didn’t create those things,” Goldie Taylor said. “Men did. They are a manifestation of a paternalistic society that we live in.” Goldie went on to elaborate inmore  detail. It is worth a complete listen.
