Chuck Todd fails in attempt to ambush DNC Chair on Bernie Sanders & democratic socialism.

Another Chuck Todd fail at promoting a false narrative

Chuck Todd continues to show that he is a shill of the Plutocracy. Last week the other shill, Chris Matthews attempted to garner a false narrative from Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz by asking  a loaded and leaning question about Bernie Sanders brand of Democratic Socialism. She did not fall into the trap.

Chuck Todd first referred to the Chris Matthews exchange with the DNC Chair. In that exchange Matthews asked her what was the difference between a Socialist and a Democrat. Todd then tried to ambush her. “Giving that Bernie Sanders is an unabashed Socialist who believes in Democratic Socialist governments, like the ones in Europe,” Chuck Todd said. “What is the difference? Can you explain the difference?”

The DNC Chair again did not fall into the trap. “You know Chuck it is always fun to be interviewed by Chris Matthews,” Debbie Wasserman Schultz said. She then correctly dismisses Chris Matthews silly questioning as ‘banter’. She segued into what Democrats are all about in contrast to Republicans as opposed to allowing the narrative to be concentrated on the word that very few understand, including Chuck Todd.

“The important distinction that I think we are going to be discussing,” Debbie Wasserman Schultz said. “I am confident we will be discussing in this campaign the difference between Democrats and Republicans. The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats want to make sure that people have an opportunity to climb the ladder of success and reach the middle-class, have a good education, have a secure retirement. Look at the Republican field. What they stand for is the extremism that you have seen on full display over the last few weeks which is why Donald Trump is their front runner. I mean Donald Trump is essentially a reflection of where the Republican Party is today, limiting a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions, shifting to a more privately focused education system, ending Medicare as we know it. That’s the important and relevant contrast as we go through the next 18 months of this presidential cycle.”

For those who get concerned when the traditional misinforming mainstream media try to scare Americans with Bernie Sanders self-designation as a Democratic Socialist, one should note that most of the industrialized Democratic governments that are our allies are just that.
