Watch Bill Maher mock Donald Trump using Aussie invasion (VIDEO)

September 12, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Bill Maher takes down the Donald Trump indirectly

Bill Maher mocked Donald Trump using his own words. By the end he tells the inconvenient truth that most anti-immigrant folks willfully fail to realize.

“While conservatives here remain apoplectic about Mexicans crossing the Rio Grande,” Bill Maher said. “And Europe freaks out about Syrian refugees flooding in from the Middle East, no one is paying attention to the ethnic group that’s taking over this country while we blithely do nothing.”

Who was Bill talking about? The Australians. Maher went out of the his way to create the same arguments the Right makes about immigrants coming from south of the border.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Australia is not sending us its best people,” Bill Maher said. “They are bringing drugs, ….”  The analogy is clear.

Maher equates a particular ‘job set’ with Australians. He speaks about Australians taking jobs, specifically American acting jobs, bartending, surf  and ski instructors, etc.

“Does anyone remember when American movies were cast with American actors?” Bill Maher asked. “That seem like a long time ago.”

Further mocking Donald Trump, Maher said he would build the greatest reef to keep the Aussies out. Of course he will force Mel Gibson to pay for it.

Bill then went from the silly funny to the truth using funny.

“I am an American,” Bill Maher said. “And it is in our tradition to hate someone. And blame them for all our problems. In the mid 19th century it was my people, the Irish everyone hated. Then it was the Chinese, the Italians, the Mexicans, the Jews, the Swedes, the Japanese, the Russians, and now the Mexicans again. If Donald Trump really wanted to make America great again, he wouldn’t build a wall, he would build a mirror. Then maybe we would see that no one  can actually take a job. Someone has to give it to them. We could end our illegals problem tomorrow if we decided to stop hiring them. But no, we talk of walls to protect us from people so dangerous that we can’t stop ourselves from paying them to raise our children.”

Bill Maher ends his skit by using anti-immigrant Sarah Palin to show the ignorance of those espousing anti-immigrant rhetoric.
