Lawrence Wilkerson gave a most prescient speech on the demise of the United States Empire. He gave the speech in the belly of the very Republican Conservative town, Kingwood, Texas, a suburb of Houston. Having a Lawrence Wilkerson, a devout Republican, justifiably admonish his Party plethora of bad acts was shocking to many Republicans in the audience.
The entire speech is well worth listening to. It gives us reason to engage in the body politic immediately in order to take control from our burgeoning Oligarchy.
The speech covered National Security, Climate Change, Interminable War, Debt, Immigration, Inequality, racism, and much more. The speech is striking in its honesty. It is likely poignant to Republicans who have bought into rationalization of the intransigence of the Republican Party.
