Joe Scarborough & Conservatives: It was a very good day for Hillary Clinton (VIDEO)

October 24, 2015 By Egberto Willies

Conservatives overplayed a hand that should not have been played at all

Joe Scarborough had to admit the obvious. Hillary Clinton had a great day in front of of the Benghazi probe committee.

“Yesterday, a very bad day for Trey Gowdy and the Republicans,” Joe Scarborough said. “Theatrically at least. Maybe some new evidence came out but it sure didn’t look like it yesterday.”

Mike Barnicle statement was even more telling.

“I happen to watch and listen to almost all of the hearing,” Mike Barnicle said. “Don’t ask me why, I realize I have no life. … Eleven hours, eleven hours the secretary of state sat there. It was an amazing performance. The questioning was largely hostile, angry, disrespectful towards her, her office, towards the casualties of Benghazi. It was a total collapse of the committee system in the Congress of the United States. I mean I hearken back to the committee hearings, you just alluded to them. I remember. And I ended up thinking that half through the eleven hours, that had this committee that employed to investigate the Watergate, instead of Sam Rayburn, a Democrat, and Harold Baker, a Republican, and if Sam Dash, the Democratic council, and Fred Thompson the Republican council, completed that hearing skillfully, legitimately; If this committee had been in charge of the Watergate hearing, Richard Nixon would have finished his term.”

Enough said.
