Ben Carson lost this challenge
Ben Carson challenged anyone to find out if any other candidate has been challenged like he has. The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah took on the challenge. Of course anyone who has been following politics for the last seven years would have no doubt that Ben Carson has not been challenged anywhere close to either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
In fact, Conservative MSNBC Host of Morning Joe has already called out Ben Carson. He recently said the following.
“Barack Obama didn’t get it with Jeremiah Wright? How many times did we talk and how many times did the national media talk about him saying “God damn the United States of America” the day after or the Sunday after 9/11? I mean, we all know that. We all heard about Bill Ayers. We all heard about everything with Barack Obama. Ben Carson has been given cotton candy and treated to lollipops by the mainstream media.”
Trevor Noah simply put meat on the bones. He pulled out a myriad of clips where President Obama was raked from all sides.
Noah’s final words were rather ironic. “So they vetted Obama to the point where they questioned that he was a legitimate natural born American citizen,” Noah said. “But at least no one ever accused Obama of not stabbing a guy. He got off easy.” The media is trying to prove that Carson has always been a good guy. Carson wants folks to believe he was a thug. What is wrong with this picture?
We are obsessed with this soap opera at our own peril. Bernie Sanders made a prescient comment. The issues the media are hyperventilating about on Ben Carson’s past is immaterial. They should be more concerned about his stated policies. Carson inasmuch as he is an acclaimed surgeon has become a unscientific guy. He supports ending Medicare as we know it and much more. So while the media fiddle around with things that do not really matter, Americans fail to learn of Carson’s most destructive policy proposals.
