Robert Jeffress gave government carte blanche for war
Pastor Robert Jeffress has taken a rather evil position that is unexpected from a man of the cloth. He is a clear an present danger. as he is using his pulpit to give the government via the support from his pew carte blanche for indiscriminate war.
Notice he lied when he implied the Christian religion is based on the New Testament only. The reality is that he uses the New Testament to justify that his religion has no God sanctioned killing. One only needs to read Samuel 15:3.
Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’
Of course when it is time to hate on homosexuals, Pastor Robert Jeffress and his ilk find the few obscure verses in the old testament, specifically Leviticus 18 to attempt to justify discriminating against them. One should note that Leviticus has “features’ many God loving Christians engage in yet we don’t see the Bible thumpers attacking anyone for said failures.
Since this preacher is one to hone in on the New Testament, he should note Jesus never spoken out against homosexuality. Then again, Jesus never spoke out against slavery either as he told through Paul in Ephesian that slaves should honor their masters. Anyone can find convenient passages in any religion to justify its failure. That is the nature of religion. After all they are old and are of a time when most were void real scientific knowledge.

Pastor Robert Jeffress is a clear and present danger to peace.This man and his ilk put the lives of his followers and others in danger as he rile them up for war. He is advocating sanctioned killing by proxy.
