Oops, Ted Cruz supported bringing refugees before he didn’t (VIDEO)

Ted Cruz’s demagoguery caught up with him

Poetic justice is simply wonderful. Ted Cruz has been making the rounds attacking President Obama for bringing refugees to America. Cruz acts as if it is one of the most dangerous things the President could do.

Of course Ted Cruz’s dad himself was a refugee. America had its arms wide open for him. Yet today Cruz wants to lock out Syrian Muslims from America.

In the video snippet from last year, Ted Cruz was a different man.

“We have welcomed refugees,” Ted Cruz said. “The tired huddled masses for centuries. That has been the history of the United States. We should continue to do so. … We have to continue to be vigilant to make sure those coming are not affiliated with the terrorists. But we can do that.”

And what does he say today?

“What Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are proposing is that we bring to this country tens of thousands of Syrian Muslim refugees. I have to say particularly in light of what happened in Paris, that is nothing short of lunacy. … There is no doubt that millions of people are suffering from the rise of radical Islamic terrorism. Christians are suffering. Jews are suffering. And other Muslims are suffering. … What I am saying is Syrian Muslim refugees should be resettled in the Middle East in majority Muslim countries.”

The man is amazing. This is why one must not take the cast of characters that comprise the bulk of the Republican candidates seriously. They are a danger to thinking Americans who are attempting real solutions to make America and the world a better place. These guys do not care about who gets hurt in an attempt to one up another in sound bites. These are serious times. These are times where Ted Cruz and his ilk are a clear and present danger to the well-being of all Americans.
