Bernie Sanders: Heckler a Trump supporter worried about Mr. Trump’s money
Bernie Sanders and his supporters dispatched a Donald Trump heckler at his ‘Future to Believe’ rally at the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst. The heckler was shouting “Shame on you Bernie.” The Sanders’ crowd began shouting “Bernie, Bernie, Bernie, …” to drown out his shouts.
Sanders addressed the heckler. “Here is a Trump supporter,” Sanders said. “Worried about Mr. Trump’s money.” More on that later.
The Donald Trump supporter was escorted out without incident. This is completely unlike the violent treatment inflicted on a Black Lives Matter guy by a Trump supporter at a Trump rally.
Bernie Sanders had a great line as the heckler was escorted out. “I say to Mr. Trump and his supporters,” Sanders said. “That the billionaires of this country will not continue to own this nation.
The Trump supporter that interrupted Bernie Sanders likely had nothing in common with Donald Trump. Donald Trump has tried to come across like a populist, a ‘man of the people’ guy. Yet, when it was time for him to codify his tax plan it was a god send for the plutocrats. There was nothing in it for the millions of supporters he has, mostly white hard working blue collar Americans. So what gives? We have got to educate the masses.
