Donald Trump will sue Ted Cruz for eligibility to run (VIDEO)

February 15, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Donald Trump seems to be getting closer to go full birther on Ted Cruz

Entire press conference here.

Donald Trump’s Ted Cruz birtherism may be getting serious now. The fact that he said what he said in his most recent press conference gave it more credence. Trump was asked by a reporter about his threat of suing Ted Cruz.

“Well he has printed lies,” Said Donald Trump. “He will go up and he will absolutely lie. In fact, Henry who is Lieutenant Governor said I can’t believe the things he is saying because he understands the views on everything and he just comes out and boom, boom, boom — absolute lies. He will apologize but I do not want an apology after the election. I want the apology before. And if he doesn’t I am going to bring a lawsuit because in may opinion based on what I have learned over the last two or three days, from very top lawyers, he doesn’t even have the right to serve as president or even run as president. He was born in Canada. So I will bring that lawsuit if he doesn’t apologize.”

Donald Trump was then asked what was his deadline before he would file said lawsuit.

“Pretty quick,” said Trump. “I do quick.”

He was then asked if he would do it before Saturday.

“Maybe if I can,” Trump said. “We have to get the papers drawn. Don’t worry. We have another one coming up. Okay? It will be pretty quick.”

Somehow this one does not sound like a bluff. Donald Trump may decide to take the Republican Primaries to a place they have never been before. It is ironic since it was Republicans who for years codified birthirism into the American psyche when they used it as a distraction to demonize President Obama. That their party will likely be dragged over the coals over this issue is poetic justice.
