Devine intervention for Donald Trump endorsement?

Ben Carson response to a reporter about God’s role in his decision to endorse Donald Trump was strange and make one question his sanity.

“You said throughout your life, God has led you to your most important decisions,” a reporter asked. “This truly is an important decision. Did God lead you to Donald Trump?”

Ben Carson’s answer was interesting.

“I’ve prayed about it a lot,” Ben Carson said. “And I got a lot of indications.”

But then it gets weird.

“People calling me that I haven’t talked to for a long time saying,” Carson said. “‘I had this dream about you and Donald Trump.’ It is just an amazing thing.”

Did Carson ever ask himself if Trump, knowing his religious proclivity, paid those long lost friends to call him? Carson may be the best neurosurgeon in the world, but his gullibility index is quite high.

But then the Right Wing insanity kicks in.

I also tend to think that the way God speaks to you is by giving you wisdom,” Ben Carson said. “That wisdom says to me that if we allow this attempt to disrupt the will of the people to be successful, it will fracture the party in an irreparable way. And that would hand the election to people who I personally believe would destroy our country.”
