Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski may pay price for his bullying
The thuggish behavior of the Donald Trump campaign may have come home to haunt Donald Trump’s campaign manager. He was accused by Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields of violently dragging her away from Trump as she tried to interview him. The allegation was denied and she was accused in several outlets of being delusional. It is evident that the story did not die with the Trump campaign bravado.
Donald Trump campaign manager has been charged with misdemeanor battery. Politico reports the following.
A spokeswoman for Donald Trump said on Tuesday that campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is “absolutely innocent” after Florida police charged him with simple battery.
The charge, a misdemeanor, relates to an incident earlier this month in which Michelle Fields, a former reporter for Breitbart accused Lewandowski of roughly grabbing her arm and leaving a bruise.
Huffington Post reports the following.
Fields released a photo of her arm with bruises in the shape of a hand. And newly released video footage appears to show Lewandowski reaching over and roughly grabbing Fields, nearly throwing her off balance.
Fields resigned from Breitbart News shortly after the incident, because she said the news outlet failed to publicly stand by her.
Will the Donald Trump decline now begin?
