A Bernie Sanders supporter called into Politics Done Right that led to a discussion to inflate deflated Sanders supporters.
It is important that Bernie Sanders supporters do not give up on this progressive movement. The caller points out that a seed has been laid. Paraphrasing, the seed needs to be nurtured, fertilized, and watered so that it will continue growing.
Many people believe that the Democratic Primary is all but over. Mathematically speaking, it is not yet over. There are about ten more states to go and anything could happen including the unforeseen. As such, no one should disengage. When it is all over still, no one should disengage. In fact, disengagement is directly responsible for the dysfunctional government and the continued growth of the American oligarchy, the American plutocracy.
A movement requires work. It requires the ability to take a hit, regenerate and continue. This is the time to coalesce the revolution movement that will be necessary to fight the continued strengthening of the plutocracy. So all the 99% movements need to get together. Disregard differences. After all, ultimately we are all fighting for the same goals. We are all fighting for the same outcome. We want an empowered poor and middle-class that has full access to success.
