The most highly anticipated soccer event of the year in the Americas is approaching, where sixteen national teams will give their all in the fields for the golden trophy. This marks a very special year for the Copa America Centenario, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary!
The exciting tournament will be hosted in the United States for the first time ever. Because of this, the Argentinian Argentine sports channel TyC felt like they had to address the elephant in the room (by which we mean Donald Trump) using racist rants as voice over of what is, probably, one of the best TV commercials we’ve seen in a while. “We’re having people coming in through the border that are not people that we want. Thousands of people are coming through the border, hundreds of thousands, and they’re unchecked,” Trump begins. “We don’t even know where these people are all coming from. They’re coming from all over. They’re coming from South America.” Next, the newly appointed GOP candidate begins talking about his infamous wall. “These are total killers,” he affirms. “These are not the nice, sweet little people that you’d think, okay? We have no protection … We need to build a wall. And it has to be built quickly.”…
