Cenk Uygur slams CNN & media: Wrong to call election before California votes (VIDEO)

June 5, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Cenk Uygur went into the belly of the beast and did not mince words as he slammed CNN and the establishment media’s biased election coverage.

Cenk Uygur is right on this one

Cenk Uygur appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources and slammed CNN and the MSM for media bias and for journalistic dishonesty in their Bernie Sanders coverage. Brian Stelter pointed out that they will call the election like they did in 2008 for Senator Obama.  He asked why is it wrong for the media to acknowledge Hillary Clinton the winner on Tuesday night.

“Because they aren’t facts at all,”Uygur said. “First, let us acknowledge what are actual facts, that the superdelegates do not vote until the convention. In fact, if they are not at the convention their vote doesn’t get counted at all.”

Stelter said that the superdelegates are the establishment and will be voting for Clinton. Uygur responded with a reality seldom told to CNN and the media on their own programs.

“You guys and I mean CNN and all the establishment press,” Uygur said. “Totally tilted the playing field here from day one by counting those superdelegates when in fact you know the superdelegates do switch their vote all the times. They switched it in 2008.”

The back and forth continued. Uygur got an important dig in, though.

“For you guys to call it, when you don’t know what the circumstances are, and those people have not voted yet, it is just simply incorrect. That is not journalism.”
