Republican Louie Gohmert verbally assaults Democratic sit-in in Congress (VIDEO)

June 22, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Louie Gohmert sounds like a crazy man as he verbally assaulted Democrats protesting in the well of the Congress.

Louie Gohmert verbally assaulting Democrats

Democratic congresspersons are occupying the well in Congress. They are now passed twelve hours. The Democratic congresspersons are protesting Republicans not allowing a vote on preventing suspected terrorists from buying guns.

Republicans cut off the C-Span feed and the microphones. That did not deter the Democrats. They continued their sit-in. They continued giving speeches. They kept pointing out the irrationality of not having a vote to protect the American people from potential terrorists getting guns.

Republicans reconvened Congress tonight for a short while. Instead of voting on a gun control bill, they voted on a bill to relax rules that would hurt investors. Soon after they closed the session again and with that the C-Span feed and microphones.

Democrats did not get deterred. They used social media. They live streamed their protest on Periscope and Facebook Live.

Some Republicans were none too happy. Republican Congressman Louie Gohmert ran into the well of Congress to verbally assault the Democratic sit-in pleading for a vote for a gun control bill.

One hopes Democrats would do this not only for gun control but our income inequality and wealth disparity problems, for our slave wage issue, and much more.
