Yet another GOP Senator won't vouch for Trump's presidential fitness

The Sunday morning shows were not kind to Donald Trump.

Marco Rubio will not vouch for Donald Trump

Republican Senators are refusing to answer a very fundamental and necessary question. Is Donald Trump qualified to be president of the United States? The GOP Leader of the Senate, Mitch McConnell refused to answer the question on This Week with George Stephanopoulos. Likewise, Senator Marco Rubio declined to vouch for Donald Trump. The following exchange between John Dickerson and Marco Rubio follows the same pattern used by Mitch McConnell. Both went through hoops to deflect the question on Trump.

John Dickerson: Let me try it another way. The presidency on national security issues sometimes comes down to one person by themselves in a room alone, no matter how much advice they have gotten. On those tough decisions, whether it’s about the nuclear codes or about the other kinds of decisions a single president can make, do you think that Donald Trump has better character and judgment in those alone situations than Hillary Clinton?

Senator Marco Rubio: So, that’s the challenge Donald has over the next two, three months.

John Dickerson: Well, what does Senator Rubio think?

Senator Marco Rubio: Well, but there’s a campaign. So, that’s what I’m going to watch now. I know Donald as a primary candidate trying to stand out in a field of 17 people. He is now the Republican nominee. And he’s going to have the next three months to go out and make the argument to the American people and help us envision him as president.

The Donald is losing support from Republicans throughout the party. George H.W. Bush’s national security advisor, Brent Scowcroft, is not only dropping the Donald, but he is also voting for Hillary Clinton. George Will bolted from the Republican Party and said he will not vote for Trump. Will the Donald have a party left?
