4th of July parade watchers threatening marchers with 2nd Amendment (VIDEO)

July 5, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Sorry, there was a YouTube error.

Rowdy spectators threatened the Kingwood Area Democrats with 2nd Amendment threats.

2nd Amendment threats have no place in a 4th of July Parade

The Kingwood Area Democrats (KAD) were  part of the 2016 4th of July Parade in Kingwood, Texas. They participates in this parade on a yearly basis.

KAD handed out beads, pencils, cards, candy, ad other trinkets. Several local democratic candidates participated as a part of the contingent. Most of the parade route was pleasant for all.

Close to the end of the parade, a couple of rowdy spectators shouted rather obnoxious statements at the Democratic participants. They did this in front of kids on the float. One of the spectators even used the 2nd amendment as a threat to one of the marchers simply asked him to be civil.

“Brother, remember 2nd amendment,” he said. The implication was evident. I started filming with my Droid Turbo 2 immediately after he said that. He is heard on  the alluding to the 2nd amendment again though not with the vile he displayed earlier. A few years ago a small set of spectators shouted out ‘baby killer’ phrase again in front of many kids.

Kingwood Texas is a very conservative part of Harris County Texas. A few years ago KAD was disrespected throughout the entire route. That disrespect was attenuated over the last several years. Now it seems to be on the rise again. It is now vogue to be intolerant and bigoted.
