Support of Black Lives Matter & nonviolence against police not mutually exclusive (VIDEO)

July 17, 2016 By Egberto Willies

Black Lives Matter (BLM) sadly gets a bad wrap mostly because of bad reporting. I covered a BLM action that closed down the freeway for 4.5 minutes to represent the e.5 hours his body was left in the hot sun lying in his blood on the pavement.

Eleanor Goldfield hits the mark on Black Lives Matter

Eleanor Goldfield gets it. Americans can walk and chew gum at the same time. Black Lives Matter’s mission must be concurrent to protecting police officers.

Goldfield acknowledged the murders of Philando Castile, Anton Sterling, and the five police officers in Dallas. She follows up with a most prescient rant.

“Let me be clear, all of this is disgusting,” Eleanore Goldfield said. “For all of those shouting and demanding that people take sides, this is the side.   As reported bay the Black Lives Matter Network, ‘we advocate for dignity, justice, and respect, not murder’. Being against the senseless killing of black men and women is not mutually exclusive from being against a killing of law enforcement.”

Eleanor Goldfield is a political activist, musician, reporter and much more. Her in your face show Act Out! will make you take a different perspective of what ails America. Her site is ArtKillingApathy.com.
