Scary ISIS story on Rachel Maddow
Rachel Maddow presented a story that should give every American pause as it provides teeth that could force politicians to buck the NRA. Even though the story should not be surprising, hearing it from the mouth of someone in direct contact with ISIS makes it that more prescient.
According to the jailed man that had a change of heart, ISIS is not concerned with their ability to get their soldiers in America. After all, they are already here. Any easily impressionable person is recruitable via social media. According to the jailed man, ISIS says Americans are dumb. Whereas they recruit criminals in Europe, they recruit Americans without criminal records. Why? Because those without criminal records can easily buy guns.
This reality should not be a surprise to anybody. America is flooded with easy to acquire guns. In fact, the last major massacre in America is a clear corroboration of what the jailed man said. An American with no record was able to purchase a lethal weapon that mowed down dozens of Americans in a nightclub.
If Americans continue to allow the NRA and corrupt politicians to put our lives in danger, then we deserve the massacres we live through every few weeks.
