Donald Trump activates the inner demons within not only the Right-Wing mind.

Right-Wing rhetoric mainstreamed

Donald Trump Trade Economics

Donald Trump made it vogue for those with thoughts normally kept in check the freedom to let them out. And it is not only the Right-Wing. His following includes people from all stripes and ideologies.  As documented by Media Matters, Trump mainstreamed insurrectionist rhetoric.

When Donald Trump said that “Second Amendment people” could act if Hillary Clinton as president nominated judges and justices they didn’t like, the implication was clear. After all, multiple Trump advisers had previouslycalled for Clinton to killed.

The stark reality is that Trump’s remarks were dangerous and will spur threats for the Secret Service to address. In fact, this type of insurrectionist rhetoric is seen frequently in right-wing media. Trump’s rhetoric matched what the NRA has said for years, but the NRA’s “Second Amendment” show mostly ignored Trump’s remarks.

Trump’s key allies in right-wing media both defended his claim and madeexcuses for Trump. Among mainstream outlets, Mark Halperin defended Trump the most vociferously. Halperin compared Trump’s remarks to some previously made by Joe Biden. Halperin is the Bloomberg reporter who previously said that Trump’s remarks attacking the Mexican heritage of a federal judge could not be racist since Mexico isn’t a race.

Will the current Trump collapse continue in the polls? We will see.
