Joy-Ann Reid calls out Pastor Darrell Scott, a Trump surrogate
Joy-Ann Reid shut down a pastor, Trump’s surrogate, and black outreach guy. She did not allow him to misinform on our airwaves, correcting him at every turn.
Pastor Darrell Scott was completely outmatched and outclassed by Reid. His answers were incredulous.
When asked why Donald Trump did not rent to black people based on the settlement he had with the government. He said settlement did not mean guilty.
Reid moved on to another conversation with her second guest. She asked her a birther question as it related to Donald Trump. And that is when the interview got out of whack. The pastor started making false accusations that Hillary Clinton was responsible for the birther movement. Reid did not let the fallacy go unchallenged.
“That is just actually factually wrong, “Reid said.”You can’t, even a pastor can’t make things up on this show. This is the part of the problem.
Joy-Ann Reid shortly after that shuts the preacher down. She did not allow his lies to go unchallenged. Reid made it clear that while she respects the pastor, not even a pastor is allowed on her show to misinform.
