Trumps impenetrable wall
This amusing skit perfectly shows why building a wall makes no sense and would only serve to enrich contractors likely chosen by Trump. The Donald still tells his crowds that he is building the wall.
The clip in this post shows a pompous, self-aggrandizing Trump celebrating his wall with a big fanfare. The military jets blowing red, white, and blue smoke, are part of the display. Unfortunately, our southern neighbors continue their resourcefulness. Instead of going through, they go under the monstrosity.
In effect, Trump is asking Americans to build something that taxpayers will ultimately pay for. And who would profit? The private contractors that would ultimately build it.
Americans seem to understand that Trump is attempting to play them for fools. His poll numbers are in decline. The question is whether the poll decline is permanent or not. Americans tend to have a very short attention span. For the sake of the country, one hopes that this time, they will take Donald Trump, a clear and present danger seriously. Americans sometimes take quite a long time before they make wholesale changes. It is that time now not only for the presidency but for Congress.
