Clinton ties Trump to Alt-Right
Hillary Clinton, in a rather powerful new ad, points out methodically Trump’s association with the Alt-Right, the KKK, and White Supremacists. Hillary Clinton’s speech in Reno Nevada recently made the associations in a lawyerly form that was striking.
Trump may dread the day he allowed his inner soul to be placed on display by showing his comfortable association with these groups. This one-two punch will likely have a staying power that will last past the election cycle because many had never seen Donald Trump in this light. It is much deeper than just being a birther and bigot.
The election’s turn to racial issues is important. There are many people of color that are petrified that Trump will bring a new winter on race relations irrespective of his current overtures.
